Poor's Brigade

And here it is, the result of two weeks' painting. There are 72 foot figures, one mounted figure, and one gun in this brigade.

  1. They look very good! Fantastic result for only 2 weeks painting.

  2. What BRB said...astonishing for 2 weeks. And the "look" of the mixed clothing is just right for Saratoga.

    Best wishes

  3. Ridiculous.

Can I ask, Scott... if you were ever to do such a thing on commission, if you think about it how much would you ask for this particular group? I am just very curious, as you paint ridiculously quick, yet I think your painting style is one of the best I've seen.

  4. Author, I've never painted any AWI figures on commission, but it usually works like this. I ask the buyer to provide the figures and pay all shipping costs. Then I charge for painting on top of that. I ask $8 per figure for 28s. But I stopped taking commissions a couple months ago so I could focus on my own stuff. Painting had ceased being any fun at all.
